2. What we collect
If you subscribe to our email list
We collect the email address you submit, plus evidence that you consented:
- The date and time of your subscription
- The IP address the subscription came from
- Your browser's user-agent string
- Which page you subscribed from
We keep those consent records because anti-spam law requires us to be able to demonstrate that a subscriber opted in. We do not collect your name, and we do not ask for a phone number.
When you simply read the site
Our web server keeps standard access logs — IP address, timestamp, the URL requested, referring page, and user-agent. These are generated automatically by the hosting infrastructure, used for security and troubleshooting, and not used to build a profile of you.
When you use a calculator
Nothing. The position size and dilution calculators are JavaScript running in your browser. The figures you enter are never transmitted to us, never stored, and disappear when you close the tab.
3. What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent or trade your email address.
- We don't share your address with public companies, investor-relations firms, or stock promoters.
- We don't send you SMS messages. We don't collect phone numbers on this site.
- We don't send you promotional content about specific securities.
- We don't use advertising trackers or retargeting pixels.
4. Cookies and third parties
StocksAce does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Two third-party interactions are worth knowing about:
- Google Fonts. Our pages load typefaces from Google's font servers, which means Google receives your IP address and user-agent as part of that request. This is a normal consequence of loading a web font from a CDN. If you'd prefer to avoid it, most browsers and content blockers can block third-party font requests; the site remains fully readable with fallback fonts.
- Email delivery. If you subscribe, your address is stored by us and may be passed to an email service provider that sends the newsletter on our behalf. That provider processes the address only to deliver our emails, and typically records whether a message was opened or a link clicked.
If we later add analytics, this section will be updated before it goes live, and the provider will be named here.
5. Why we're allowed to hold it
If you're in a jurisdiction with a lawful-basis requirement such as the UK or EU: we process your email address on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the form and can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing. Server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating the site securely.
6. How long we keep it

7. Your choices
- Unsubscribe — every email carries a working unsubscribe link, and it takes effect immediately.
- Access or delete — email editor@stocksace.com from the subscribed address and we'll tell you what we hold or delete it. No charge, and we don't require a reason.
- Correct — tell us and we'll fix it.
- Do not sell — we don't sell personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of. California residents have this right under the CCPA and it is satisfied by us simply not doing it.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Subscriber records are stored on our hosting provider's infrastructure with access restricted to the people who operate the site. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't claim otherwise — which is part of why we deliberately collect as little as possible.
9. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has subscribed, contact us and we'll remove the record.
10. International readers
We operate from the United States, and information you submit is processed there. If you are outside the US, submitting your email address means accepting that transfer.
11. Changes
If this policy changes materially we'll update the date at the top and, where the change affects subscribers, say so in the newsletter. We won't apply a materially different use to data already collected without asking first.
